How would I write "Art imitating life" in Bliss?

Answer:

This could be expressed a couple of ways, depending on how literally we try to translate the english. I like the one on the right which means art similar to life, or art like life. The one on the left means literally art copies life.

               

Since this is art we are dealing with here, I wonder if it might be helpful to compare the symbols for life and art in a nonlinear way:

I need a symbol for "path" as in "spiritual path" for translating some literature into Bliss.

Answer:
Path:        

This symbol means literally, a place for walking the soul. The last part of the symbol (the 3 mind symbols) is improvised. It represents "levels of mind" or "Soul".

Question:
I'm writing a children's book and I need symbols for the following words:
ghost, space, fireworks, Santa Claus.

Answer:

fireworks:
Santa Claus:

The symbol for space means space around the earth. The symbol for fireworks is improvised and indicates an expansion of points in the sky in celebration. The symbol for Santa Claus is improvised and means an imaginary person from the north pole.

What does the bliss symbol for diamond look like?

Answer:
Diamond could be a shape, a jewel, or a material. Since Blissymbolics strives to avoid ambiguity, here are three compound symbols for diamond:

Question:
How would you name and indicate star constellations in Bliss?

Answer:
The symbol for the Big Dipper:

This symbol means "group of stars" along with the specific name of the constellation. For other constellations, just substitute a different name. This symbol is improvised, so it may or may not be the same as that which BCI might recommend.
